Unlike with a sale, where the relationship with your estate agent ends when you’ve sold the property, when you’re letting a property you’re going to continue that relationship throughout that letting and many others. Finding the right agent becomes even more vital.
Even before you’ve put your property on the lettings market, we’re very useful people to involve. We can advise on what you need to do to get a good rent for your property, and what’s not worth doing. And of course we can give you an accurate figure for the rent you should expect to get.

Our most important role is not just a matter of finding you a tenant; it’s finding you the right tenant. Part of that is just good sense – carrying out credit checks, taking up references etc. But our real added value is our ability to get a good measure of a potential tenant, which comes from the sheer experience of seeing hundreds of tenants before. And of course the difference for you between good tenants who pay their rent on time and look after your property and those who don’t is enormous.
Then, as issues do arise during a tenancy, we’ll handle them quickly and conscientiously. In short, you can rely on us – which is why landlords stay with us for so long.
You can choose how much you want us to do. Many individuals, property companies and estate agents from outside the area choose our full management service. They know we will deal with any issues from a broken tap or door handle to installing a full central heating system if required.

We also provide a letting service where we just collect the rent, so our clients don’t have to be involved if the rent is late for any reason. Sometimes we’re just engaged to find suitable tenants to our client’s specification, be that a family, professional sharers or students.
